Still is built on a simple principle: your peace should be private. We collect minimal anonymous telemetry solely to improve app stability. Personal data is never sold or shared.

Ethical Data Handling

Still does not collect your name, email, or contacts. The application functions primarily on-device. Your quiet moments are your own.

No Accounts

Still does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information. Your identity is irrelevant to your calm.

Anonymous Telemetry

Still uses Google Firebase for crash reporting (Crashlytics) and aggregate performance monitoring. This helps us fix bugs and improve stability. This data is anonymous and not linked to your personal identity. We do not track your specific behavior or sell your data.

Infrastructure

We use Cloudflare to deliver high-fidelity audio content efficiently. Cloudflare may process basic technical data (like IP addresses) solely for security and routing purposes. This data is ephemeral and not used for tracking.

Hardware Integration & Sensors

Still interacts with strictly defined system features on your internal hardware:

Motion Data: Used locally to create subtle parallax effects. This data never leaves your device.
Dynamic Island/Now Playing: Mediated entirely by iOS. No personal interaction data is recorded.
Microphone: Optional, used only when you choose to record a local personal soundscape. Recordings stay on your device unless you export or share them yourself.
Camera: We do not ask for, access, or use your camera.

Patronage Transactions

Subscriptions and purchases (Still+) are handled securely by Apple. We do not have access to your credit card details, email, or Apple ID. Standard App Store privacy protocols apply.
